Riley B. King mejor conocido como B. B. King (Blues Boy King - Nombre tomado de un programa radial de Sonny Boy Williamson II) nacido el 16 de septiembre de 1925 en Ittabena, Misisipi, es un famoso guitarrista de blues y compositor. Es conocido por llamar a sus guitarras "Lucille", incluso compuso una canción con ese título haciendo referencia a la manera en que su guitarra cambió su vida, esta es ya una tradición que inició en los 1950s.
B. B. King es considerado como uno de los mayores virtuosos del blues que ha tenido la historia de la música.
